I am a current board member who has lived in the neighborhood for almost 4 years. I have worked for the City of Houston for over 25 years and have considerable experience in personnel and project management. I use a common-sense approach and believe most residents want a safe appealing neighborhood with an HOA that functions to provide information and service to the residents and protect property values.
I would like to volunteer for a board position. I have over 12 years experience serving on varies boards. When my children were in elementary school I was Vice President of the PTO for a few years. Later, I was Vice President of the high school booster club. I’ve also served as Parliamentarian and first Vice President with the Junior Guild of Texas. In addition, I’ve held multiple coordinator positions with focus on event planning and fundraising. I also own a wellness center in The Woodlands that offers massages and facials.
My husband and I bought our house back in December of 2018 because of the incredible neighborhood. My hope is to bring back events like camping on the greenway, and other activities that will help bring our community together. With our house being closest to the front gate, and my husbands IT experience, our focus will also be to help maintain a functioning gate when it starts to dysfunction. I plan to be in this neighborhood for several more years so maintaining our property value is my upmost priority. With your support, I strive to be a liaison for the community, and the management company, to ensure our neighborhood is doing all it can to be the community that initially lead us here.
I have 14 years experience in water and wastewater, and currently a Board representative for my company on 5 different Mud Districts. I am a Husband and a Father and have lived in this neighborhood since 2013. I do not plan on moving until my children are out of school and beyond. I am very invested in this neighborhood and concerned about its future. The key issues I would try to bring to discussion are, security, issues with entrance and exit to the property, as well as maintaining and upgrading playgrounds and pool facilities. Although my main concern is safety for our residents, the appearance of the neighborhood is of concern as well.
